As recovery continues, residents who experienced flood damage are encouraged to:
- Contact their insurance provider to begin or continue the claims process and discuss available coverage.
- Review Manitoba’s Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) program to determine whether they may be eligible for assistance: https://www.gov.mb.ca/emo/funding/dfa/programs.html
- Keep receipts and documentation, including photographs of damage, cleanup costs, and repair expenses, as these may be required for insurance or DFA claims.
- Contact Manitoba Property Assessment Services if your property sustained structural damage as a result of the recent flooding at assessmentminnedosa@gov.mb.ca
