Approximately one-sixth of Rosedale (northwest) is overlapped by the southeast corner Riding Mountain National Park. The Park is well known for its large wildlife and wide range of unique vegetation.
Riding Mountain National Park contains 3 different ecosystems:
- Grasslands
- Upland Boreal Forest
- Eastern Deciduous Forest
